With big gaps between seasons, I find that I need to rewatch the previous season before starting the new one. That's tough to do with shows I'm only somewhat into. I tried watching the new season of Foundation this past weekend, but stopped after 20 minutes because I had forgotten nearly everything.

I think they showed him in the bullpen earlier.

It always makes me nervous. Joaquin Benoit suffered a season-ending injury in 2016 running in from the bullpen for a similar shoving match. He was one of the Jays' best relievers that year.

I wish I had bought more beer. I only have one to get me through the rest of this game.

I would've liked to have been on a jury at some point, but lawyers are ineligible to serve here in Canada. My wife is also ineligible by being married to a lawyer, but she was quite happy to get out of it a couple years ago for that reason. One of the few perks of being a lawyer's spouse, I guess.

The first thing I thought of was 2001: A Space Odyssey, although #StrangeNewWorlds made a lot more sense. I agree that the episode was a bit rushed, but really good nonetheless. An extra 10-15 minutes would've made a big difference.

I wondered the same thing. It wouldn't surprise me if they filmed a scene answering that question, but cut it for whatever reason. It was really odd to just leave that loose end.

They also do a great job with subtle details. I thought I had seen the pattern on Spock's and Chapel's suits in Hegemony II before (it definitely looked like something from the 1960s), and sure enough: bsky.app/profile/gagh...
I loved the update to the environmental suits from #StarTrekTOS' "The Naked Time"➡️ in #StarTrekSNW's "Hegemony II"⬅️. Definitely no more shower-curtain material! :-)

I know Garcia and Hoffman pitched yesterday, but it seems a bit surprising they haven't been in up at some point today.

My favourite is still the Tim Pugh tug of war in 1996:

Get well soon, Mike. Hopefully it's mild so you can be one of the ones showing up for spring training "in the best shape of his life" next month.

I was one of the last people I know to stop masking indoors, but I'm still a bit uneasy in crowded enclosed spaces. Nothing wrong with being cautious.

I was off the Blue Jays bandwagon for much of 2005 because of how the team treated Delgado at the end. It was completely classless.

My new starting word is off to a strong start. I think this is the second time I've solved the puzzle on the second guess with it.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not worth following. If an account does start following me, that alone is a big red flag.
