Democrats need to understand that they can just say “It’s insane to threaten Greenland” and “I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street” and you don’t need to pretend to link it to the affordability crisis.

Say bad things are bad.

Just canceled my Paramount+ subscription, and I let them know this was why.

I know losing my $7.99 per month won't bring the company down, but I'm choosing to use the little power I have to register my disatisfaction. Small acts of protest add up
Paramount just paid Trump a bribe for merger approval. When Democrats retake power, I’ll be first in line calling for federal charges. In the meantime, state prosecutors should make the corporate execs who sold out our democracy answer in court, today.
Paramount agrees to pay Trump $16 million, clearing way for multibillion-dollar merger

Congrats to Sen. Durbin on a terrific career.

While I strongly disagreed with his vote with Rs to avoid a shutdown last month, he has been a champion for the working people of Illinois for decades, and proven himself time and again to be a kind and decent man.

His successor has big shoes to fill
Durbin was first elected to the Senate in 1996 and has served as the Democratic whip in the chamber for two decades.

He is also the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. wapo.st/4iqPBsf

Thank you @vanhollen.senate.gov for doing the right thing and fighting for justice for Kilmar. This is the kind of leadership we must demand from all of our elected officials right now
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Been calling Durbin all morning but can't get through.

Almost hard to fathom how out-of-touch our Democratic senators are if they're willing to vote for cloture here. D establishment's refusal to hand the reigns to younger leaders is crippling the party
Just a reminder we only have two hard yesses on cloture (Schumer, Fetterman), 1 likely yes (Gillibrand), and everything else is vibes/forecasts.

Trump/Vance's treatment of Zelensky today is one of the most disgraceful things I've ever seen.

Ukraine is fighting for freedom/survival against an unprovoked invasion, and they insult/blame him for not wanting a "peace" deal giving away his territory?

US is officially on the side of the bullies

Finally finished migrating over from Twitter. Not gonna be part of Musk's hostile takeover of the US. Hello Bluesky!
