I miss when NYI games were boring & low-scoring. Islanders continue to have Detroit's number, outscoring them 12-2 through 2 games.
Red Wings outplayed at every position (not just in net). This is a feast or famine team that needs to kick the habit.

Refs confer for a while and deem that Seider was in the zone when clearing the puck over the glass, but the replay doesn't really show that. Really don't understand how you make that call. Red Wings go to the penalty kill in any case. #LGRW

With what we've seen from John Gibson so far, the most generous interpretation of his play is that he goes as the game goes.
Sometimes allows soft goals, sometimes makes a big save, but by & large he's not moving the needle or stemming the flow when Detroit is struggling. #LGRW
