Chief, someone reversed the polarity on the groin dispersal beam. It is now right up in my face and I can't see the controls.

That might explain the strange look he got on his face just as he was about to launch into another trombone solo and why he suddenly ran off the bridge. It's hard to say whether it was fear or pleasure.

I'll try that Chief. On a related note do you have any tactical advice to stop him putting his leg on my console? It's very hard to focus on the Romulan warbird that just uncloacked when his groin is right next to my head. I brought it up with @starfleet-hr.mabs.dk but they just started sobbing.

Hi Chief, first time caller, long time listener. How do I tactically suggest to my superior officer that his trombone playing doesn't help motivate the crew during a red alert?

Chief, is it true that you stopped talking to your kids about advanced engineering when it became obvious that they knew more than you?

This is your signature on the agreement isn't it? You really need to pay more attention to the random PADDs that Quark hands you when you're playing darts.

Would these be the same reasons you are covered in baby oil?
December 9, 2025 at 11:23 AM
I don't think even Neelix is gullible enough to let you in there
December 8, 2025 at 9:49 PM
That's what you get for claiming you were "waste disposal"
December 8, 2025 at 7:49 PM
How many people would need to die before you became captain?
December 8, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Bet you wish you had kept those Q powers now

Humans only give you that look when you get them with a really tough question
December 8, 2025 at 6:38 PM
It's hard to get good staff these days. Have you tried some motivation? Like maybe holding their pets hostage?

I'm reminded of the speech by the Twelfth Doctor in the Zygon Inversion about war and the line 'nobody wins for long'. These guys might win in the short term but there will be someone else after that. It won't stop just because they think they won

But the humans will be made to pay regardless

But what if it's butt cleavage? Everytime @annoyedobrien.bsky.social shows up to unclog waste extraction he claims its regulation for senior engineers to show ass crack. I've taken to wearing shades at all times as a precaution.

How much bad luck are you willing to risk?

I think a Hogswatch party at Unseen University on Discworld would be a lot of fun. No shortage of food and drink to enjoy.
December 6, 2025 at 11:13 PM
But why are you wearing tearaway trousers and a bow tie?
December 6, 2025 at 11:12 AM
It's ladies night in Quark's and since you insist that you've retired 'Magic Myles' we had to get the next best thing.

I suspect when they see Harvard graduate in your bio they can't resist trying to find some sort of gotcha

I'm somewhat lucky that I am in a position to afford to go down the private route to get treatment. It's three sessions of €400 each but is relatively fast. If I had gone down the public route here in Ireland I could be waiting years.

When I was growing up ADHD was seen as something Americans got and the focus was always on the hyperactive part and nearly always in kids. The belief was that unless a child was practically bouncing off the walls then they couldn't have it. It's taken years for me to recognise my own symptoms.

It's obvious these guys have never read Judge Dredd. But not surprising when most of their information comes from memes and vibes.
