Spotted this very cute floof down at my local cafe earlier today. I'm not sure of the breed #Dogsofbluesky

Thank you @sirtonyrobinson.bsky.social and your guests for such a brilliant episode. My family has always had dogs from even before I was born and I've always had a strong connection with them. Here are my current two, Dasher and his mum Daisy.

Great night at @theeverymancork.bsky.social for the Irish premiere of Saipan as part of Cork International Film Festival. Éanna Hardwicke is excellent as Roy Keane. Really captures his intensity youtu.be/ZwVSe3ATfns?... #Cork #Cinema #Saipan

There might be a reason for that

I think Lord Havelock Vetinari suggested a system of one man, one vote. He is the man and he has the vote.

Afternoon in Fota House as an audience member on new show called 'Museum of Me'. Each ep sees a celebrity guest talk through curated objects connected to their life and career. On the way in I passed by the rear of the tiger enclosure @fotawildlife.bsky.social #Cork #TV #Tiger

I had a surprise encounter with a tiger this afternoon. I was walking past the back of the wildlife park here in Cork while on my way to be part of the audience for a TV show filming nearby.

It was great to be invited to the civic reception to celebrate 80 years of Cork Public Museum. The curator, Dan Breen, and his staff deserve the recognition for all their hard work #Cork #Museums

Looking through the latest DNA update from Ancestry. Certainly a bit more precision. The Galtees are now included which makes a lot of sense for me. The Donegal likely comes from my O'Donnell ancestry. The 1% France is a bit of a puzzle. Some latent Anglo-Norman ancestry maybe? #Genealogy #DNA

Can we also request some Tayto while you're at it? Unfortunately the original flavour was lost during Irish Reunification but hopefully the replicators can get close enough

More people should be forced to spend time outside. Literally touching grass every so often might make the online environment less toxic.

A great day yesterday @corkgenealogysoc.bsky.social conference. Three great speakers. Especially impressed by Zoë Reid, Keeper with National Archives of Ireland giving us a preview of what to expect from the 1926 census #Genealogy #Cork

Not sure if Alan Partridge counts as a comedian but he would definitely accept an invite

This memory popped up on FB from seven years ago, not long after we brought Daisy and Dasher home. Hard to believe how small Dasher was #dogsofbluesky #madra

Wonderful tour of Nano Nagle Place as Gaeilge for Heritage Week. My own proficiency with the language isn't great but I was really impressed by how well our guide did delivering a tour in the language #HeritageWeek #Cork #Gaeilge

The wonderful folks at Cork Heritage Open Day are looking for volunteers to help out at some of the venues and on walking tours this Saturday 16th August. It's always fun to get involved with and who knows what cool stuff you'll get to see #HeritageWeek2025 #Cork www.corkcity.ie/en/cork-heri...

Keep Daisy in your prayers. She's been unwell this week. Some sort of inflammation in her gut. The vets are keeping her in for the day but it will all depend on how she responds to treatment
