My condolences

The last three cycles saw the Democratic candidate earn between 750k and 800k votes. Mamdani has won over 1 million votes already. So it also seems like hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers looked at the Democratic Party’s standard bearer and said, “yes please, absolutely.”

Sure but how often is the Democratic nominee facing off against the former Democratic governor with a multi-million dollar war chest and *still* getting more than 50 percent of the vote?
