It's a big week ahead for hockey and basketball prospects with the #NHLDraft and #NBADraft taking place. For those fortunate enough to have their name called, it's the best day of their lives.

I decided to unsubscribe from the Globe and Mail’s Morning Update email this morning. I can see how this would be useful for readers who aren’t following the news as closely on a daily basis, but as a daily print subscriber, I don’t find use in re-reading news from two days prior.

Trump's tariffs feel likely to be the communications challenge of 2025 - not just the business and regulatory one. Explaining cost/pricing changes to customers, addressing supply chain disruption, navigating geopolitical dynamics, etc., sure to be difficult and nuanced.
