We all have a choice.

The Internet is ours.
We all have a choice
Taking action and Doing The Right Thing is often difficult, always exhausting, but it is what we must do, together.

Yo @jfmengels.bsky.social – I tried to find an elm-review tangram logo, but failed!

Here's the AI abomination that I generated, feels like a winner?

Someone should consider starting an eng podcast called “It Depends…”

a show filled w/lukewarm takes, level-headed discourse about “the tradeoffs”, & examples of diff ways to solve the same problem.

Every episode ends with 3 deep breaths & a parting reminder that we’re not exactly saving lives here

today is my 40th birthday. to toot my own horn a bit, I'm the happiest, healthiest, and most successful I've ever been, so I'm going to indulge myself and do one of those "40 things that made me who I am" threads

so buckle up (or mute me for the next little bit 😆)

Elm Camp 2025 was a huge success! 🏕️

Being at an Unconf is a great re-focus on the people we impact (and gives us space to geek on tech, too)!

It pumped so much energy into the Elm community, and I'm inspired by the ideas and conversations we shared together.

See you all next summer ❤️

Just submitted a talk proposal for @viteconf.org 2025

(Have some exciting work I want to share with the web community completely powered by Vite 7.0)

You should submit, too– especially if you are a first-time speaker! ❤️

A friend and I beat @animalwell.bsky.social this weekend and it was very fun and cool.

He was visiting for the holidays, and we switched off every time we found a hidden egg 🥚

10/10 was a surprisingly good couch co-op experience for being a single-player game!

I just picked up Kay's prototype bits over the holiday– super nice for making games in @godotengine.org without getting bogged down with the 3D art

It has a nice animated character and building blocks for stubbing out houses and item pickups 🧱

Thanks, @kaylousberg.bsky.social ! ❤️

Last night, I picked up "A Short Hike" on Steam and played it until I got 100% achievements

I LOVED IT!!

Tonight, my wife and I are traveling for the holidays– so she’s playing on her Switch while I try out Night Stones!

(They are both on sale in case anyone is looking for a cozy game night!) ☃️ 🎮
