Every day I have to build without lydell.github.io/elm-watch/ is a sad day. It's hard to explain how nice of a tool it is to work with. I've yet to encounter another hot-reload setup as nice

@joshuakgoldberg.com As a native English speaker that works with linters, please solve this argument I'm having with others: Which words fit and don't fit in this specific sentence, and which one would you recommend?

Why can't they be separate? Do you still enjoy a chocolate made by a machine while also enjoying the ones you make?

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

So far we have:
- accordion
- tabs
- toggle
- tooltip

Building these takes a significant amount of effort. A lot of care goes into accessibility, sensible keyboard interactions, docs, api design…

It’s fun, I don’t mind doing it, but I also don’t mind affording rent too yaknow 😅
are any of lustre's production users interesting in sponsoring some work to produce something like base-ui but for lustre?

this would be beneficial for everyone but particularly for prod users because building this kind of thing takes time away from product development

I would be very surprised if a full accounting in the future didn't reveal more than one mass grave at the detention centers. If they're behaving this way in public, what's happening out of sight must be many times more brutal.
Imagine what’s happening in the camps.
Imagine how much they’d be lying about what happened without all the videos showing it from multiple angles.

i'm speaking at fosdem in a couple of weeks time in the browser's room, talking about lustre and how it builds on #webcomponents rather than fights them.

are there things folks would be interested in hearing about? compared to most other frameworks i think we have quite a different opinion

we released lustre v5.5.0 last night, here are the highlights:

- `element.memo` to cosplay react (and go 2x as fast)
- `element.supervised` so you can tell server components to get back to work if they fail
- tidier HTML generation
- improved hydration of SSR apps

Been much nicer for me because Twitch always seems to de-sync audio on long streams, and their TV & mobile apps have been awful for me for years
