Did a day trip to Shenzhen last week and had our first experience riding the subway (MTR) there. It's clean and modern. The image is the map of all of the trains and stations in Shenzhen. With a population of almost 18m, Shenzhen has grown to be the third most populated city in China.

Sunset in Thailand. My son took this picture on a recent trip. I hope it brings some peace and calm to all my fiends on Blue Sky.

Channeled Apple Snails lay clusters of eggs that look like bubble gum. They are an invasive species in Asia and we saw these eggs all over the golf course yesterday as we walked around the Hong Kong Open golf tournament.

Don’t touch! The eggs are toxic.

Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary in Egypt. An amazing trip with the love of my life. Life is good!

Just got home to Hong Kong last night. Still unpacking and catching up on sleep.

I'm grateful for all those that have followed me. It isn't about reaching a number. It's about community. Finding like minded people, openly sharing ideas and positivity.

Thanks for sharing beautiful pictures and thoughts that brighten my day. I hope I can brighten your day now and then.

This week is the Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong and it marks 40 years since I met my wife in Orlando.

I didn't know 40 years ago how much my life would improve because of her, but finding the love of my life changed everything. I am truly a lucky man.

We took the ferry from Central to Cheung Chau yesterday for a fun outing.

It was a beautiful day. We ate lunch in a little Thai restaurant, ate fresh egg waffles and walked around the town.

Just have to watch out for the people on bicycles.

Hong Kong bracing for a super typhoon. This storm will be the equivalent of a category 4 hurricane. Forecast track has it making landfall just west of Hong Kong on Wednesday.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Visited Hong Kong Disneyland last night. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Can’t believe the park has been open 20 years already.

A salt lamp? When my wife said she wanted to buy a salt lamp for this corner I was unsure but I can’t argue with the results.

The soft glow and stunning color adds an ambiance I didn’t expect.

Life’s simple pleasures. And she got the lamp dirt cheap from China.

Another teen has committed suicide after being encouraged to do so by AI. This new law suit is filed against OpenAI.

16-year-old Adam Raine died by suicide in April and ChatGPT helped with the planning and writing of his suicide note.

This is the second notable case where AI encouraged suicide.

Another spectacular sunset in Hong Kong. It was hard to capture because it went all the way across the horizon.

We have had so much rain but the clouds provide the perfect tapestry for the sun setting.

AI isn't just impacting the way we teach, it is impacting what we need students to learn. Many traditional entry level jobs will be performed by AI by the time current students enter the job market. What are we doing to prepare them?

Stay tuned for my next episode as we talk about solutions.

I have posted lots of pictures of buildings and I don’t want to ignore our animal friends. These pictures are from Czechia on our recent visit. 2 owls, a bear and some swans. We saw many birds, fish and cattle along the way. A few goats and sheep and, of course, lots of dogs.

Prague at night from the river. Today we depart Prague and head for Berlin. This trip has been full of wonders, history and churches. Many, many churches and a few castles.

I have about a thousand pictures to sift through when I get home.

The village of Ceski Kumlov in Czechia is like a Disney set or a fairy tale. Looking forward to exploring more tomorrow.

Sound on! Listen to the church bells and be reminded that love and compassion are in infinite abundance. The more you give, the more you receive.

The church is in Budapest. I feel very blessed to be able to visit such beautiful places.

Beautiful Budapest! It was hard picking just 4 pictures to share.

Another country every day. These pictures are from the National Park in Croatia. The water color was spectacular and incredibly clean and clear.

On to Budapest Hungary today. Lots of time on a bus but I have a good book to read and enjoy the scenery.
