Interesting that the emails don't show up on these threads. Many other of the Epst... disclosures include the email addresses. Was Summers using Harvard's email?

Perhaps I misunderstood, but to me you are saying that the Roberts court will say that in the future (that is how I understood 'cue'). If that is not the case, then we are saying the same thing.

They already said that. The immunity decision says that the president is immune for official acts (reducing tariffs) and that prosecutors cannot investigate the reasons for such an act.

This is not an exaggeration by the way - note the university's response to Myron Gaines's Nazi salute on the left (condemn but allow) and their policy restricting land acknowledgements on the right (prohibited from event programs, meeting agendas, etc)

Under the definition of research collaborator there are many loopholes possible that may cover grad students. E.g. if a grad student goes to China (located in) for a conference, would that suffice? Also if a Chinese grad student gets a job in China postPHd, that would make the advisor ineligible.

I deleted my top post because the Science article I learned about this act from (www.science.org/content/arti...) says the the Act bans US scientists from training Chinese students, but as I am reading the bill I don't know that it does

Though the language is vague which is really bad.
