With the recent outbreak of measles in Texas, public health officials are asking people to check their measles immunity with their primary care provider.

For all of us who are able to get vaccinated, let’s do our part and keep our community safe.

Nope, you were probably already exposed to measles. Vaccinated between 1957-1962? Maybe, check with your doctor. Vaccinated between 1963-1967? Yes! The measles vaccine you received is nonsidered ineffective and you will need a booster. Vaccinated between 1968-1989? Maybe. Check with your doctor. Vaccinated after 1989? Nope. If you received two doses, your vaccines are considered effective.

Today is my eighth anniversary! (Well, our first eighth anniversary.)

I’m still delighted that we found each other. They are the person I want to see when I wake up, the last person I want to talk to at the end of the day. They bring me such joy and love.
