I know Riiita uses his size as a way to stand out, and it works, especially in the Dragongate style. That said, I do think these singles matches show all the other reasons he stands out as a wrestler.

He hasn't adapted to NOAH in the way Harutoki has. It feels like his heart isn't there in the way it is in Dotonbori or anything based in Osaka. Maybe it isn't. He was just so disappointed after the Hiromu match. I want him to be happy with what he's doing in NOAH.

His final match with Harutoki was great. When he's good as a heel, in all the context of the stories he's built, he's great. Out of context, he's flashy and loud enough to stand out. His tag team with Tadasuke was good. He shouldn't need to be exceptional every match. But there's something missing.

He's held stuff back and he's been trying to be somewhat coherent in character - being head of big scary (but loved) heel unit in one place and bottom of the pile in another is not helping. Pitching as best in Kansai and getting overtaken by Harutoki, MJ and arguably now Matsufusa hasn't worked.

I honestly don't know whether it's about booking, fit, personal choice, personality... I just cannot tell. I don't think changing Ratel's worked for him. I don't think the relationship with Hayata has worked as it could have, partly because he's already got Rapid in big brother role at Dotonbori.

In many ways KRAMPUS have been hugely successful. He's run monthly produce shows. He's been Dotonbori champ for 2 years and had tag titles too. He's had a ShuPro column. Things aren't bad. But it's far from where I thought he would be and he's not shown in NOAH what I think he's capable of.

Kaito you best be booking Harutoki into a win because I'm losing patience here

Sometimes I think the most NOAH thing about Kaito is his stubbornness. He has that 'get hit in the face and step forward' mentality.
