I'm so excited about this. They last had a singles match in 2019 and MJ has said many times how much he was inspired by this Yuki Sato guy who AMAKUSA might recall?? I do think MJ is just some glitter powder away from being Sato-kun's spiritual successor, so this should rock.

So, I was perceived and it wasn't awful.
Who am I kidding, I happy cried a bit. I wrote the thing with a lot of love for U-T's work, so I'm glad he got to see how much he's valued by me and the many U-T fans of the world.
I shall resume hiding under my duvet now though.

It's not a recent thing (here's his last match as W-1 Cruiserweight Champion). This move is part of his history and he's bringing that history with him into this match. This belt means something to Seiki. He didn't get a shot at it first time round in AJPW. Now he can hope.

This is not just any move. Korakuen audibly gasped when he went for it. This is the move Seiki wins and holds Championships with (here's him doing it for the GHC Junior title). It's a statement. And not just a statement of his abilities.

So, since no Mu-chan at today's press conference, I'm just going to have to talk about something else - Seiki's Crash/Clash Driver.
On the day he challenged MUSASHI, Seiki did this to poor Nagao. I cannot recall Seiki finishing a match with this since MUSASHI arrived.
