For a small, two person operation, our pod punches way above our weight. Don't let the silly name fool you, we're having serious intellectual conversations while injecting some humor along the way.

I've heard it's like overhearing smart people chat about current events at a coffee shop.

Also, I’ll be honest, I had a good time at the beginning of the season because I liked the silliness that some episodes had. But Trek is best when it deals with current, relevant topics, not just stories about people in space.

“If the Federation flag itself becomes more sacred than the values it’s supposed to represent, then maybe the bravest thing we could do is burn it.” Yeah, that’s the problem. The symbol is only powerful because of what it represents. Without that, it’s just a picture.

Oh right, totally forgot about that. I still feel that Georgiou’s “how could you?” doesn’t make total sense. It feels to me like she’s blaming Michael for the war when Michael wanted to do the opposite of the thing that started the war.

But I might be misremembering.

I think I have some of the events confused. Guess I’ll need to rewatch!

Oh is that why they send her to the penal colony? I was so confused in the first episode because she tells Georgiou what she thinks she should do, Georgiou does something else entirely, the war starts, and then Georgiou says, “how could you??” and sends her to the brig.

Ramona filling the sink with rosettes made out of toothpaste because the tube was so satisfyingly full!

That’s what I would say. There are a lot of sad ones but that one really gets me.
