That's one of the points in the document - that the motion accepts Kahanism (the far right version of Zionism) as the only Zionism there is. Which is "like accepting the EDL’s definition of Englishness" 2/end

I wouldn't say quite that, right wing versions of Zionism have been around for a good while now (and the only reason I'm not saying 'since the beginning' is cause I'm not sure what right-wingism would have been back then in that context), but its true that with the rise of the far right in Israel 1/

For some people, shouting "we don't want no Zionists here" is like "we don't want no fascists here". I can see their argument - terrible things were done in the name of Zionism.

But almost all Jews would hear "we don't want no Jews here". And they have good reason to fear this is the subtext.

It is important that party members understand why so many Jewish members, regardless of their own relationship with Zionism (indeed many are anti-Zionists themselves), are - at the very least - really unhappy with this motion, and have a think about what kind of party we want.
