Bah! So cold. Average winter temp here around 32F. Last 2 weeks has been below that every night. Currently 21 with "feels like" at 10. Miserable.

I'm still trying to figure out Bluesky. When someone responds to one of MY responses, how do I follow it back to the original post? I have a few responses out to different posts, and I get notification that so-and-so responded, ie, "so true". Which response did they respond to? How can I see?

Seriously I need to take a break from the crazy/OMG this is happening ... but I'm afraid that something will happen that will inexplicably lead to me being arrested for something bogus as I walk out my door to go to work. I need to know if I shouldn't walk out my door. YES, it's making me crazy.

When did racism, bigotry, and hate become "politics" ? It's a matter of human decency - I'm struggling to understand this.

Deporting folks who speak out against the indiscriminate bombing of Palestinian civilians by Israel and label it "anti-semantic"? Then get started deporting the Skinheads, the Proud Boys, the folks in Charlottesville, etc, & especially people who give Nazi salutes in front of millions of viewers.

Ok, forgive my ignorance. From a notification of a response to my post (or response to someone else's post), how do I get back to see the original thread? I'm still learning how to use Bluesky & I'm not as tech savvy as I used to be.

So ... I haven't eliminated Facebook yet, I'm scrolling through today and I see post after post from democrat politicians/agencies asking me to "chip in now". Is this FB algorithms, or is this the dem response to what's going on? Usually my feed is mainly my groups on education/wildlife Id, etc.

So ... Putin, Musk, & Vance have all realized how easy it is to manipulate Trump. I know there's always the rubber band effect after progress, 2 steps forward, 1 step back. But REALLY, how TF did we get here? I've seen theories, but none really explain it satisfactorily. Is it just a perfect storm?
