Submitting two big grant proposals in the span of 24 hours has left me feeling the most intense blend of relief and anxiety. Hope I get funded!

This is the common brown lemur (Eulemur fulvus)! Found in Madagascar in 3 primary populations. Cathemeral, they are active both day and night with most nighttime activity occurring during the dry season. Threatened by forest destruction, hunting, and capture for the pet trade. Listed as Vulnerable.
