Wassup folks! I've done a bit more work on my environment and added in some new bits; In this update: Cables with procedural wind via world position offsets, CCTV cameras and I've finally textured the industrial balcony. Huzzah!

I added a custom skysphere with animated clouds, and pigeons last night. Naturally they started flying, looking like this.

Who's up for a pre-sleep project update?
I've worked a punch on some props around the scene, added more trash variety, pipes, guttering and some other bits and bobs. I also fixed a bug in my decal spline tool that was projecting them upside down, so that was fun 😂

Been posting some of this over on Twitter but I shall here too! :D I've been working on my next WWII: USAAF prop over the last couple of weeks. This time i'm tackling the m1911 pistol! Super happy with how its turning out, especially since I've never really worked on a real gun before xD

I think we're almost there with this project now! had a bit of feedback which I implemented the other day! Super happy with the results, I feel like the textures are a lot more balanced now!

I think at this point it's final feedback and finishing renders, then onto the next one! :D

Hey folks! Time for another update!
I've finished the base pass on all of the assets now! I'm super happy with how they're shaping up! Next up is gathering feedback etc, so if you have any thoughts on improvements be sure to let me know! :D

I've been off this project for a little while, working on art tests and the like, but over the last few days I've had some time to jump on it again! Here is the start of texture pass! :D

Hi all!
Over the last few days I started working on my next prop(s) to go along with the small series I am doing for the USAAF WW2 survival at sea kit (very niche but I like it haha).

This time it is the Life Raft Ration packs. I've just finished the base modelling and I'm moving on to texturing!

Received some feedback from a few folks today, so I spent some time implementing that!
I also came across some interesting information about the way these radios were used and held when at sea, so I've implemented some detail that implies that use!

Update #5!

I've now gotten my radio to a point where I'm ready to start receiving feedback! My next steps are to add some additional AO information around the bolts etc!

Update #4!

Continued working on the radio this evening. I've managed to get a base pass done on most of the components, its just the translucent pieces to look at now! I've also repositioned some of the knobs, screws and the crank handle! :)

Update #3!

A little bit of night time arting! I've now relit the render scene a bit to create more of a neutral lighting setup, added a couple of new render cameras and added the base texture pass on a few more pieces! Hype hype!

Update #2!

Yesterday I made a scene in unreal to render the prop in and also test the textures I've made! It'll help in finding areas that need more work once I have a base pass done on each of the pieces! :D

I'll be continuing with more texturing now, and sorting out a few issues I've noticed!

Progress update #1 on this project!
