I got off Twitter in 2022 and got back on here in 2024 because I heard the Denver-local take havers were here now. Current insomniac but don't expect me on here at 3am because that is MY TIME to quietly (and sometimes loudly) freak out and attempt to knit.
Got this pretty boilerplate response back from the research coordinator. It's worth noting that, while they say they did this "In order to comply with federal mandates", they are complying in advance under the mere threat of funding being taken away.

The article is paywalled so I can't be sure what he's talking about but we use Cloudflare on our clients' sites and have had this setting turned on for a while. Our clients are mostly authors, so protecting their IP (which includes book excerpts, author's notes, etc.) is important to us.
