Demonstrating integration of Braun and Vitsoe, both systems designed by Dieter Rams, early 3 drawer cabinet in white 65.5cm with Braun Audio 300/310, integrated turntable and audio system, amps etc with L46 wall speaker, hung on E-Track. Dr Peter Kapos, mid flow in his amazing studio with walls covered in Vitsoe, sure sounded by Mid-C20 Braun audio. The lovely Zapf 601/2 RZ 60 high back lounge chair in black/ charcoal hopsack, with pair of low-back chairs behind designed by Dieter rams 1960. Floor stand mounted Braun audio unit behind.

Indoor air quality in UK homes is often poor. Most use ‘System 1’ ventilation (Part F of the B’Regs): trickle vents + intermittent extract fans.

PassivHaus uses ‘System 4’ Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) for continuous fresh air and energy efficiency.

My first AUDE Conference was 2009, also in Wales, in Newport. This will be my 11th time in 16 years, I have spoken and run workshops. Put on exhibitions and sponsored the late bar.

I’m also trustee of University Design Forum, often also the reason for being at AUDE.
