Yeah sat around a table with a bunch of women that “just couldn’t give up Amazon” 🙄
Not only was giving up Amazon morally correct, it also saves me tons of $ on stupid things that no one actually needs…

And even some of us straight white people will walk…although i repeatedly find myself disappointed in how many people purport to have progressive views but are unwilling to slightly inconvenience themselves for those views.

America yelling about a trade deficit with other countries while unemployment *was* historically low and our wealth is the highest in the world is like the rich kid at the table yelling that he didn’t get ice cream with his cake while other children are sitting there with empty plates.

I’ve always argued that if we add what we pay for health insurance + medical out of pocket to the taxes we pay, we would have a clearer comparison to what Europe pays.

I think counterpoint is while our society may be rich, a fair portion is way more insecure than some poorer countries because of our medical system.
