There are reports that the most expensive college football ticket in the country today (excluding luxury boxes) is for The Brawl of the Wild. Montana Grizzlies host the Montana State Bobcats. Wow. 125th meeting, and the first time both are undefeated in conference play. Go Griz!

I don’t generally care when corporations fight one another in ads. But I can’t help but find AT&T commercials w Luke Wilson weird. He’s got a fake, weird accent, says “When you’re born out here…” and “I keep my boots clean by…” I’m like, huh? He was born in Dallas, went to private schools. Weird.

As a guy who doesn’t enjoy shopping, but who wants to look nice enough, I feel like I am scoring pretty well with the occasional Poshmark find. Boots last year, a few shirts, and today brand new jeans w tags, $45 delivered.

Got an email banning me from Reddit for 3 days claiming I threatened someone. I appealed saying, No, I responded to a threat by Hair Fuhrer’s son that if he engaged in violence, he might experience violence. That’s not a threat. My appeal also said, “You fucks platform Nazis and you ban me?” I won.

Got these shears because one or another reputable site recommended them as “good” for an affordable option. They were $20, and although new; they are certainly more substantial than my set that broke last week. We’ll see how they do spatchcocking chicken and helping w holiday dinners.

So this “invitation” just came in email. Funny, because I got kicked off Nextdoor years ago because I called out racist old coots in my neighborhood. I’m proud to have been booted, and wonder how this invite happened (unless the racist old farts’ friends are no longer the moderators).

My oldest is off to college in a few weeks, so we got in one more Dad/Daughter backpacking trip. We hiked up to Rampart Lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. The cutts, biting. Our campsite, flat. The views, spectacular. Hope I get more of these w her. College doesn’t take them away forever, right?

I can really only imagine the deep pain and betrayal my wife would feel if she found out this way that I had been listening to Coldplay.

Well, I survived The Weekend. Kinda boring to me but I’m obviously not the target demo. I couldn’t make out his voice above the bass. But I will say he seemed genuinely touched by the audience reaction to his first song. The whole thing was very wholesome. Buncha young ppl enjoying a show.
