These leaves tremble in anticipation,
Their soft whispers speak to my searching heart.
Hushed tones of excited inspiration
Urging me to stand upon the rampart.

Two days was all it seemed it was back then --
The first was when the soulless cracks first grew,
And the second shattered guiltless the pen

Here's the tea:
I've been on administrative leave for the past 3 weeks. My options were to detransition or be forced to separate. I chose the latter because I bet on the courts pulling through, which they did. I'm glad I can work again, but it's not the same now that my life was put on blast

Hopefully I'll be permitted to return to work next week. Anyway, here's a bit of what I'm working on:

New orders came in saying I have to cut my hair, follow standards that are not true to me, stop being me. I'm not gonna roll over and take it. To all my trans family in the military, we just have to take the heat for a little longer and we'll make it through
