Yes yes, I know that particular definition of insanity, but I can assure you this time it will be different.

I’ve been watching these GOP Oversight hearings recently, it was wild and irresponsible to have Mayor Eric Adams show up today. But not much demonstrates more clearly the difference between the parties than listening to Republicans yell rhetoric in the face of statistics that prove them wrong. 1/2

Kingsley Wilson, the newly-appointed DoD Deputy Press Secretary, believes in a thoroughly-debunked antisemitic conspiracy theory. I've mostly only seen this theory promoted by mask-off neo-Nazis.

“Nope, not watching it”
“I got better things to do”
“Doing X, glad I’m not missing anything”
Hey, Shut The Fuck Up.
There are plenty of reasons to abstain, but stop performing your apathy in the face of people trying to inform themselves and others on the bullshit being thrown in our faces

The tariffs will hurt bad, but Fentanyl is a front. The drug war ain’t about drugs. Never was. It’s always been a proxy fight to attack specific communities. Targets change, but the principal remains the same. It’s theatre, political kayfabe. “Fentanyl Czar” - sounds like a wrestler.

So DOGE terminates lease on FDA quality lab in St. Louis and 29 other sites. This is a major concern for drug safety in America. 🦶🔫

Companies doing moderation: not a free speech issue

People blocking you for saying mean things: not a free speech issue

Fact checks: not a free speech issue

This right here? THIS is an attack, by the government, on your constitutional right to protest against oppression.
Real question. What is an “illegal protest”? Real question. He was convicted of a crime. Why hasn’t he been expelled?

What's it gonna take for everyone to realize the occupant of the white house is fundamentally anti-American?
Trump thinks anyone protesting must be from another country when the right and will to protest our own government is a foundational American value.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

when Elon Musk started recruiting for DOGE last November, he said the work would be “tedious” and “compensation is zero"

now it turns out some DOGE operatives are earning six-figure salaries, one as high as $195,200, as much as a civil servant can legally make

Some DOGE Staffers Are Drawing Six-Figure Government Salaries
Engineers and executives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency are drawing healthy taxpayer-funded salaries—sometimes from the very agencies they are cutting.
