To add to OP's point; not all kinks are equal. Race play is generally looked at as a taboo in many kink communities, and it should be. Fetishizing the maltreatment of people for the color of their skin is abominable.

Agreed. Not all activism is meant for social media. Not everyone doing something, is blasting their activities for all to see. There's the screamers with the megaphones, preaching activism (many of which don't practice what they preach), and quiet voices getting shit done in the background.
