Last 4 characters saved in your phone are your DnD party:

Captain Pike, Garibaldi (or G'Kar), Andor ... and the homicidal toaster from Fallout New Vegas ... about par for the course.

Hex Geomorph Tile Template: Refined

The OCD and a glut for choice bit me. Needed to fix how everything lined up; the markers and gridlines especially.

Now that I'm finally satisfied, I can get to making some fancy geomorph #maps for #ttrpgs or #wargames.

#Fallout #2D20 Gamemasters, this is your sign to throw in a little Doctor Who, and Star Trek in your next session.

Whelp, time to break out the drawing tablet. Put together a quick Hex Geomorph template based off what few tutorials I could find.

Hexes are 2in.
Red dots mark where things can line up.
Letters mark what side should line up with what (A-A, DC-DC etc.).
Int. Lines are visual guides.

Have a boost to well wishes and positivity.

Also have an incredibly spoiled Ruby ... only way I can get her to take her meds.

Minority Report told in 2 headlines.

What?! this isn't fiction?!

One of his first EOs was to "end the weaponization of government against political enemies" by the previous (Biden) administration ... but clearly, the Traitor and Cheat will weaponize government against his enemies (as we all knew he would).

Read it; make it your mantra; internalize it. Then put it on your wall, where you can see it!

#SolarPunk is beautiful, but utopian idylls rarely hold attention for long. It's worth noting Bruce Bethke's (author of the original #Cyberpunk) words as we build this TTRPG Setting; Utopia has its flaws — needs its flaws — to capture the imagination.

And if you would like to infuse that prompt with a little more action and intrigue; another, from the Poetic Edda (Jackson Crawford translation), Fafnismal.

Here's a prompt 😁

From the Ballad of Lalla Rookh , by Thomas Moore. From my 1849 copy of The Poetical Works of Thomas Moore.

Back at the grindstone. Trying to finish up this second entry.

Building a TTRPG Setting: Welcome to Desertpunk

I hope you join me as I peel the layers of the #TurduckenPunk hydra I'm building. We'll see if my cat lets me work today.

I'd be lost without these little shits. Literally saved my life.

Make everyone trans to piss off the phobic troglodytes. Was this character a cis white man before? Now they're transfeminine, black & slaying it like Boudicca. Were they a woman before? Transmasc non-binary drag king with an axe to grind.

Collect transphobe tears with a new mug.

A quick preview of what I'm working on.
"Building a TTRPG Setting: Welcome to Desert Punk" is the second meandering entry into my "turducken-punk" monstrosity, exploring how the world got fucked, and the push toward something more Solarpunk. Blending #Solarpunk, #Desertpunk, and #Cyberpunk.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, or haven't they heard?
February 6, 2025 at 8:31 PM
I need to get back to shoveling out word soup, before the crisis of the day drives me insane.

Here's what I'm working on. Just as half-baked and irreverent as the last ... just more focused.

Prep: Grab an empty journal. Tear a few dozen pages into 1" wide (tall) strips.

Then: create a smaller version of Raymond Queneau's Cent mille billiards de poèmes using only random comments from the chat, when someone donates.

Break it out every stream after. Turn the comments into poems.

Adding to this: Affinity was bought out by Canva.

You may need to dig into the co-owners, but there doesn't seem to be anything supporting Zionism at a glance.
