Like yeah I got up for maybe 30-ish minutes earlier when my wife finally got home (she attended a sports game for her school and was given honors as one of the school's best teachers!) and ate a little and took some meds but that wasn't up-up, I went back to bed as soon as she went to bed too XD

Congrats if you know where those are from. Each one lives rent free in our heads and gets used frequently XD

We needed this, honestly. Just sitting around and having bullshit fun with friends. The shadow clone was due to dice rolls and we just went with it, the world of this campaign is changing with each session and I love it so much 💜

I laughed way too hard all night.

One alt/side character has a very, very strong Valley Girl accent and we joked that nothing would be scarier than her being your sleep paralysis demon.

"Like, oh my gosh you look so cute laying there! Can I adjust the blanket for you?" and it was too funny.

I know I said I might try to eat and GM last post but like I realized tonight is going to be rp heavy because the group just had a huge fight last session. I have another fight prepared just in case they get to it, but it should be mostly talking which...yeah, I can't do that and eat XD

But since I can't eat and GM I nuked some Korean BBQ flavored spam so I have something to eat before hand. It sucks but hey, what can I do right?

At least I'll have Chinese food leftovers while I work today ^^

when the price on baby formula and food is insane and childcare costs are so out of control they're inaccessible to most, is it any wonder?

For more and more people, especially women, the answer is just to not have kids. To not bring life into a world that's so fucked up. And I don't blame them.

So yes. Technology, feeling captive...those are all factors. But a lot of women I know have my stance too; too many unknowns, too many health risks that our system just fails to address at all, and too expensive. When we can barely afford to feed and house ourselves,

Maybe if I had a great doc taking care of me while I was pregnant, who actually informed me of things and took my concerns seriously (and have all the medical bills covered because let's face it, fuck that shit) I would consider it, but that's never going to happen.

Like legit, I'm afraid of getting pregnant. I'm terrified because when I go look for stories what do I find? All of the above. And sure there's plenty of parents who love their kids, who don't mind the sacrifice or see it a worthy labor, but not me. And I also hate that people won't respect that :/

Postpartum depression and other changes to mental health. Permanent diabetes and other physical health complications.

Oh, and the dietary and medication restrictions too!

The whole process sounds complicated, messy, expensive, and not great for my overall health.

The fucking horror stories of women going home and getting septic because the placenta didn't come all the way out and no one bothered to check. Women who pass blood clots the size of baseballs and get told "that's normal" and then have bleeding issues that get written off.
