Same. My last few working years I did this constantly if I had the slightest inkling that someone in the audience didn’t / wouldn’t know some company specific acronym. Wish I started doing it sooner.

Most of the enlisted soldiers that served under me were not there for love of country. G.I. Bill, needed a change were the biggest reasons.

I’m on team “directly intervene in Ukraine’s rear to allow Ukraine to more fully defend against Russia on the front. “ NATO spreading forces all across its borders sounds exactly like what Russia wants since it would most likely deprive Ukraine of war material. It’s a wedge.

Almost all countries have a say when one of their companies is sold to a foreign entity. The U.S. does it all the time. Considering the US is extorting China to make TT be sold off, hell yeah they have a say so. No other country would act differently.

Lived this last year. Funds clawed back. Had to submit paperwork to get it back. The estate is due the last check since SS is paid in arrears - the benefit was already earned.
