Root: the RPG is a relatively crunchy PbtA. I played a pyromaniac mouse. It was pretty epic. I burned a LOT of things down.

The beautiful coffee table book edition of Nobilis. I played the Viscount of Curses (who was, of course, a black cat). Very smart game. It’s built entirely on resource management. No dice. This is a strength and weakness, but it’s a blast.

Forbidden Lands. This is a fantastic actual sword & sorcery game. Pretty traditional system, great GM-side innovations. Feels like The Witcher when you fight a monster. Amazing hex crawling. Ok base building mechanics. All around good time. And pretty!

Absolutely LOVE this game. 10/10, will play any time.
