Remember when people used to talk on the phone by holding it to their ear, rather than on speakerphone, when out in public? Those were the days.

I do worry for myself.

But I am vastly more worried about marginalized people, who have been directly villainized. Trans people, LGBTQIA people, immigrants, people with disabilities, chronically ill people, ethnic minorities and more, all explicitly targeted.

We have to stand up for them.

Always.
