It's so difficult to explain to undergrads and even some postgrads that academic writing ALSO has a voice that needs work and revision to develop 😭

I dont think it's helpful to deny the sad fact that the apparatus for violent repression of campus (and other) protest has already been extremely well oiled and normalized... so many people who put their their necks on the line to resist have already been fired/suspended
