Still, there is much we don't know due to limited and inconsistently released data on enforcement arrests & deportations. Reliable and public data is needed to inform state and local stakeholders who want to collaborate with the admin or the immigrants and families who are affected by enforcement.

Since Feb, US immigration authorities recorded an average of 11,000 border encounters a month--a dramatic decrease compared to last months of Biden admin. But Trump policies appear to be less effective at reducing encounters of Mexican single adults as compared to other groups.
