This table looks at all Wallaby coaches since ratings started in RWC03. So far Schmidt is the best performed, albeit for only one year, with Deans next best. There are no other positive performance figures although it is worth noting that Rennie’s COVID impacted tenure was largely very wacky.

Given the historical significance of the test tonight, I thought I’d throw together my favourite ‘all time that I saw’ Irish XV. Some tough to leave out, most notably Brendan Mullin.

How come no one (I’ve seen) has picked their combined First Nations / Pacific team to take on the Lions? I’ve avoided possible Wallaby candidates.
