Sounds a solid 10/10 for the audience anyway.

(But hope they're feeling little more solid for the rest of the run.)

With the benefit for right wing politicians that an inequality that's unacknowledged cannot be addressed. Or threatened.

Seems to me that the disparaging of 'woke' theories, and wanging on about cultural 'integration' is nothing more than code for wanting to revert to that state of innocent ignorance.

A fear that another's pride in a parallel heritage undermines one's own pride in theirs.

There was no part of me, growing up, that judged a person by their skin colour.

But I had no conception that people experienced life in England differently.

When we drove past Buck House I saw a corner shop where I immediately assumed HRH nipped on Saturday mornings for fags and the paper.

I still have a set of Golden Shred Golly pins hidden away. Never occurred to me they were meant to represent actual humans til I saw a Craig Charles documentary about how offensive he found these characters I was so fond of.

I think of that moment whenever anyone disparages Critical Race Theory

The second half of The Goodies episode on South Africa is just unconscionable by today's standards.

The first half is searingly anti-apartheid and pro-equal rights.

I think about it often in terms of how far we've come.

So were the Ewoks.

At least they had the good grace to eat you, though. Moomins will leave you as carrion - Blood-Eagled on some hilltop watching raptors rip out your own insides.

I do not wish to reclaim it. I need to see their evil world burned to the ground. And then salted.

I reckon I could have lived through two world wars too if I'd dawdled along slowly falling behind everyone else. While wearing a massive shell.
