if i've learned one thing from doing union stuff while also doing other forms of organizing, it's that you're better off with people you disagree with who are nevertheless trying to do the same thing as you than with people you agree with who aren't trying to do anything

So many people I know are suddenly glorifying Andrew Tate and Joe Rogan based on their pro-Palestine content. A broken clock can be right twice a day. If you talk long and loud enough with the privilege of being mediocre white men you’ll get something right eventually.

“The dead can rest in peace. The living are forever broken.” speaks to something I’ve struggled with. I’ve seen so many dead kids on social media this month. And as horrific as that sight will always be, the most haunting videos are the kids who are alive, bloodied and shaking. Unspeakable trauma.
