I think a loooot of them are changing their group names because the “buy nothing” project is suddenly doing copyright shit, but I would look for a buy nothing/gift giving group and ask for a crt because that’s how I got mine and I know of others who got one for free that way too

I know plenty of people have made this observation but I just wanted to say it too. It's mind boggling. We all agreed this was normal stuff for cartoon characters to do. Why are you mad? I mean I know it's just about othering people, but it really does drive me nuts.
