...(sighs)yeah. For that reason alone, I can't rewatch Harvey Beaks the same way as I did as a teen.
Does anyone else feel like Harvey Beaks was patent zero for a lot of modern toons, especially CN and DTVA, with its thin lined circular art style, tendency to spell everything out, and being so sappy that it feels like its made more for tumblr users with childhood trauma rather than actual children

So according with Hannah Ayoubi, Nickelodeon wanted the Harvey Beaks crew to lead the new creator driven era at Nick with their own pilot,a Nick Sumida pilot and Magic Children but Nick axed it..
The funny thing is that creator driven era that Nick wanted is happening at Disney TVA..

With Harvey Beaks' 10 anniversary on the horizon, I just know people on Twitter are going to ruthlessly blame SpongeBob and Loud House for "killing" the show more than actually celebrating the show.
