It’s so nostalgic to play Blood again. RIP Monolith.

What are your four favorite films of the decade so far?

Here are mine (2024 was a pretty good year in terms of my taste in movies😅):
Gong Seung-yeon and Jung Da-Eun in Aloners (2021). Both Women are sitting in a call center in front of the same monitor. Gong is looking intently at her monitor and Jung is looking at her while holding two coffee cups in her hands. Demi Moore in The Substance (2024). She's looking at her reflection in a bathroom mirror. Her eye makeup has been smeared a little. Timothée Chalamet in Dune: Part Two (2024). He's in the middle of the frame walking towards the camera. The sun is shining behind him. Sugarcane (2024). In the foreground there’s a white statue of the Virgin Mary with Child. The statue is full of what seems like rust stains. The stains seem to invoke blood. In the background there's an old building (probably an old Residential School).

Even though I’ll perhaps never again play D4, I still love the character design of my fave the Sorceress. So I just had to have this figurine for my birthday. I think she’s quite the looker. 🥰 🧙🏼‍♀️ Maybe the last money spent on my behalf on any Blizzard property for a while though. 💔

Sometimes I love the PC gaming scene. I got American McGee's Alice for Christmas and got it playable on my modern PC at a reasonable resolution with the help of free tools and information. I still have to tweak the FOV and size of the HUD a bit, but it's nice to finally play this gem from 2000. 🥰
