Well... I read a lot of fairytales where charecters became statues or other objects. I mostly remember an Italian tale "The Shepherd of Caltanisetta", or some tales from "Oz" universe. But I think the thing that influenced me the most was cartoon Bamse where I saw a visualisation of inflatable-TF
