Desiree fought against the binds holding her spread eagle against the hot asphalt under her. It was fresh, hot, & dark, perfect to soak in every hot ray the sun shone down upon it. Craning her neck, Desiree could see one of the large trucks used to flatten and spread the asphalt out heading her way.
