And I can’t, I just can’t stop thinking of Gaza’s children, entering a third year without school.
Happy new school year. May every child know safety, learning, and hope.

I used to teach present continuous and passive voice as neutral grammar points, until I came across this:

• Gaza is being starved
Both describe suffering, but only one hints at agency!

Ceasefire now. Enough loss. Enough pain. I hold on to hope, not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary. It’s how I stay strong enough to keep going, and maybe, just maybe, make a difference. 🌿 🌿

Might simply be to remain human.
To feel when you’re expected to be efficient.
To mourn when the world moves on.
To care when it’s safer not to.
Holding on to your humanity?
A quiet kind of courage.
