Tiny kitten staying with me right now. He's very sweet but Loppan has opinions

After all these years I'm still haunted by

"Class A (Legal) : "PS" and "Vita" must not be separated by line breaks [MUSTFIX]"

(we did not have support for non-breaking spaces in our game 😰)

I had to look up CSS modules and is this what you're talking about?? Because if so, yeah that also sounds like a nightmare

I'm constantly surprised by how no-one doing web development knows what css is *for* or how to use it

This is just styling the html inline with extra steps. Absolute clown shit

Kitties hanging out. The white one is my cat, Loppan. She loves to hang out there because she's on top of the AV receiver which is warm as fuck. Black one is her brother, Baggis, who is visiting and very nervous, so he's being brave just hanging out in the open

I'm watching these four adorable kittens on his #Caturday

Came home to a crime scene this evening. But who has murdered my plant?

Luckily detective Loppan is on the case and I'm sure has no biasses in this case

Rider autocomplete has gotten *significantly* worse from 2024.x to 2025.2. It's now adding autocomplete recommendations at the end of lines, so hitting Enter doesn't go to next line, it spaffs out nonsense

I've got all the GenAI bullshit switched off, but I'm betting this is LLM madness creeping in

As a weird industrial design project, or a movie prop, this could be kinda cool, but this is being sold as a genuine survival tool, but also pictured like you could be real world wolverine maybe 😂

Have YOU considered whether you have enough RAPTOR utility in your life? For survival AND construction - the two domains we all associate with RAPTORS
October 9, 2025 at 11:24 PM
The "yeah my client is a murderer, but who cares?" is probably a really stupid line to take when your client is spending hundreds of billions to try and wash their murderous reputation with entertainers like yourself

Also your client is a murderer, don't embarrass them publicly maybe?

I have no useful input but

The cpp integration is pretty nifty too - you can throw exceptions to BP users and let them know what's up
September 26, 2025 at 1:43 PM
I probably can't adopt Astrid, because Loppan HATES other cats and gets extremely jealous if I interact with other cats, which would make it a bad situation for everyone involved
September 26, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Still thinking about the kittens that I visited 2 days ago. Especially Astrid, who I am told is a "nightmare" and a "terrorist" by her owners, but who I experienced as a sweet, sweet, little baby
September 26, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Just to be clear, Lillemor (the mother) was around and very attentive to her babies

Get in loser, we're having a cuddle pile

Took a while to work out how to get them displaying properly standalone, so there's a gist here if you're interested gist.github.com/rtm223/329b4...

It also allows for inserting a material node into any slate hierarchy and all the tooltips and stuff just work, which is neat
September 20, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Alongside this plugin is trying to automate good documentation for material functions, including
- Generate markdown with all the node details
- Render out previews of the outputs

See at: github.com/rtm223/RTMSD...

But now I can render out the Node Widgets too! So need to work that into the pipe

I've just released version 1.1.0 of my #UE5 SDF Plugin. Now featuring some extra material functions, some basic materials and this nifty interactive explainer / examples / tutorial window

Windows binaries for 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6 up in github github.com/rtm223/RTMSDF

During my gap year, I worked at a small family-owned engineering firm that mostly made comoressors and vacuum pumps. The old boy who founded it once tried to branch out into the miniature train game. Huge commercial failure but they had a few of them still around the office

Plant inspector checking in
September 11, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Everything is integrated with the built in UE import pipelines (both Interchange and Legacy) so it's as simple as naming your SDF sources "{MyFile}_SDF.png" and it'll generate for you, with various settings to fine tune generation

You also get these real nice thumbnails in the Content Browser
