as I've been saying and some have asked, i'm going to do a quick breakdown of my simple style method.
1. my pencils scan (iphone photo lol). It goes on top, and is set to multiply.
2. I fill in a lower layer completely with the base flesh tone, then add a shade layer

the simp(le) color method i'm using on the DOA gals is because of the volume that project will have, but it can absolutely be used for more detailed stuff like my recent Parasite Eve piece. I'm a very big "few layers as possible" guy so the tighter the workflow, the better

ok seriously it's hard to save it for the sketchbook and not run here saying "hey look what i just did!", but this simple color method I'm working with is making each of these a delight
