Considering that they're planning on detaining people already leaving voluntarily, that seems likely. www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/ice-pl...

In school we used to use a pre-installed windows program to chat with each other over the network during lessons. IT eventually realised and tried to stop it by deleting the start menu shortcuts, took me 2 days to realise that we just needed a new shortcut.

We also used proxys regularly for Bebo.

I never got into Halestorm, but I love virtually anything ft. Lzzy Hale and it started with this one.

She's not single, she has a much older partner, also employed by Google, on an even higher salary.

Possibly the book I enjoyed most this year. Also loved the Mage Errant series.

I still get asked this occasionally when people find out I did a psychology degree over 10 years ago (I've never worked in the field).

Though I'm guessing that UK private practice is still quite a bit cheaper than the US equivalent going by what I've seen of US medical bills.
September 6, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Sort of, there are practices that see NHS patients (often oversubscribed), but there's also private practices which usually don't require private health insurance (but may have some kind of payment plan option).

I saw a video recently of him letting someone have a card binder of her choice for free because she was using a cardboard box.

She came back and gave him a plushie as a thank you, and he immediately asked if he could give it to a kid waiting in line instead.

The article you linked is about apple incorrectly summarising multiple push notifications via AI, not about individual notifications sent by an app.
August 6, 2025 at 8:50 PM
It's possible that the headline has been updated, or it was different from the push notification, but that is from the BBC app, and has nothing to do with apple.

I got the same notification on Android.

Work sells Dualit toasters and a few times a year we get an email asking if we can send parts to the US or Australia, so people can fix toasters they bought in the UK decades ago.

With the exception of a couple of models virtually everything in them is repairable with a screwdriver.

The pany 20mm is one of my favourites. Great walkabout lens, and compact enough that the camera fits in a coat pocket.
