Ah you have the joy of Calgary using a lot less salt than Ottawa in terms of making your ride last.

What are you riding in the snow these days? I’m looking to extend my cycling season.

The starting spot for cuts is off limits unfortunately. OAS should definitely be a thing, but the income thresholds for it are ridiculously high.

How are you winter biking these days if you are? I’m getting sick of giving up biking for 4 odd months and am thinking about a fat bike. (Admittedly TO is a bit gentler for you than a YOW winter)

Unfortunately decent economics reporting and Fox Business are antithetical

The Little Victories replies are the correct ones. Also do you have a moment to catch up?
October 26, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Particularly as Mo offers so little off the ball

Any thoughts on why collectively investment by the anglosphere is poor?
October 9, 2025 at 9:52 PM
I see what you’re saying. To my mind Wirtz isn’t central to the biggest concerns that I have seen though:

1) inability to rapidly progress the ball or get it to MO (miss TAA)

2) vulnerability down the right flank.

3) inability of 6s to stop counters

4) weak in the air (defo includes Wirtz)

Yeah in Canada we call that 10 ply it is so soft. Also, I think Osimhen, came to a complete stop in his run up, yet o call.

I like it. Both he can’t play 90 minutes of every game and I think we need to rethink how much of a defensive passenger we can afford him to be.

Really good point Liam.

They do a fantastic job of skating to where the puck was.

I’m so tired of people not seeing the good in Arteta. Like did you know women rate him highly as a lover? That’s right, they love that he never finishes first!

Fair analysis
September 20, 2025 at 2:06 PM
The only thing I am not understanding is given it is such a compressed week, why were only three subs used? I would have thought the last few minutes would have suited gun shield Endo.
September 20, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Looks like there are 7 guys we are risking overpaying, I was hoping for a little more rotation this season, particularly as so far we have had less games where we can limit energy expenditure due to a controlled game state.
September 18, 2025 at 12:28 AM
As I understand it, Slot’s offensive strategy often revolves around overloading zone 14 (that area in the middle right before the penalty box) so this is a feature, not a bug. The question is can we figure out the combos, patterns and sequences to make this work?
September 14, 2025 at 7:59 PM
So what I am hearing you say publicly is that Amorim has been incredibly unlucky, all the fundamentals are there, United should stick with him longer and the Ineos team is top notch.

That’s the message United fans should take right?
September 14, 2025 at 7:47 PM
I think the issue with Cody is the sheer predictability of him trying to cut in to the middle to take a shot near the top of the box.

Every game Wirtz has a least two passes that if the other player was on the same wavelength, the would have generated a big change.

My big concern is Mo not Wirtz

And for Grav:

Grav we told you lately that we love you?
Grav we told you there's no one else above you?
You fill the pitch with calmness, take away all their passes,
Ease our troubles, that's what you do

Work it a few clever bars then:

Everybody, everybody, let's get into it
Get moving
Get started, get started,
get started

Dom’s got it started (Ha)
He’s got it started here

Dom’s got it started (Ha)
He’s got it started here

Dom’s got it started (Ha)
He’s got it started here (yeah!)
September 1, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Very good. I was thinking though an abridged version of Let’s get it started in here by the Black Eye Peas.

Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'
Dom’s runnin', runnin'

1/2

And a different question for you, let’s play out a hypothetical. What if fullback becomes Dom’s main position and he continues to play this well. Is that worth the fee we paid for him, which I believe is the 2nd most ever for a fullback behind Gvardiol (who also wasn’t purchased as a fullback)?

What did you think about Mo today? I think his relative lack of threat is more a tactical issue than performance, but welcome your insights.
