My one and only comment on the French language debate is can the media stop treating it as if it is a debate solely for Quebec? There are a million Francophones outside Quebec and this is their debate too! Acting as if French only exists in Quebec actually plays needlessly into separatist sentiments

I was in Iceland on a family vacation and it is fantastic, but there is nothing like being home.

For all its imperfections, there is no country I would rather call home than Canada.

So apropos of nothing, I am in Iceland and this photo is the divide as the European and North American tectonic plates pull away from one and other…

…Also I am unable to figure out how to fuse Canada to the European plate.

I am not often going to post about politics because of my job, but given this is a cross party thing let me say this:

Federal and provincial governments who are running deficits should not borrow more money in a literal attempt to buy my vote through rebates.

Please invest in our future instead!
