I watch this every Thanksgiving. It was my dad’s favorite band and a great way to remember him. And every year it makes me happy.

I was in a hospital in March with my dying mother. One day some over eager kid starts walking around with an acoustic guitar, going room to room asking if the patients wanted to hear folks songs. Every single room told him to go away. It was the best laugh I got all week.

It’s a tough situation I’ve dealt with a lot this year. First step, get everything organized and centralized. Have a packet with all info - doctors, meds, medical history and update it as needed. I’ve been preaching this to everyone the last few months.

In fact last week the church had a little rummage sale where I picked up a cool tube amp for $20. The week before, the small choir did a Joni Mitchell song. Clearly these are music people.
