I think we may need to consider the possibility that the scheme was designed by someone who aspired to be the Harold Shipman of highway engineering. The bays on the south side of the A4 definitely have a give way at both ends, so there's a good chance of meeting a bus head on with nowhere to go.

It seems odd that cycle.travel isn't honouring the access=customers tag on the private service roads through the Mercedes site.

I recently re-mapped most of those in OSM, which helped drive home to me how ridiculous that arrangement is.

Public transport fares for people not breaking the law go up every year. The laughably low fine for a Band A higher rate contravention has been frozen for a decade.

It's also a lot easier to park illegally since CCTV enforcement of most contraventions was banned by Chris Grayling in 2015.

I'm well insulated with about 10kg of extra bioprene™ under the skin and an incredibly inefficient runner 🙂 As there wasn't any noticeable wind chill, I felt pleasantly warm while I was running.

Btw re: trans sports. If we offered a permanent ban on trans women in sports in exchange for no further attacks on trans rights in other areas, not a single GC activist ir conservative lawmaker would accept the deal.

Because it's not really about sports. And thats why it's pointless to concede.
