We have the second attempt at garlic sourdough, courtesy of Breadginald Yeastways. The garlic didn’t come out quite the same as my last time roasting some, I suspect I didn’t leave it in quite long enough, but the misshapen mega loaf certainly smells good.

Mister is Concerned about this.

Success! As usual, the shapes got weird as the bread expanded during baking, but they smell good. My suspicion is that I need to add more garlic for next time, but I have to wait for the bread to cool before I can find out for sure.

Today’s progeny of His Grace Duke Breadginald Yeastways of Pilsbury appear to be… a conjoined Frankenbread. Clearly they are ready for Spooky Season.

The yeast was extra happy today, I guess, seeing as they both exploded. Smell great, though!

Breadginald rose to the challenge once more. We have… LOAVES!

Mister is clearly starving. Never been fed ever in his whole life. Clearly I am Worst Cat Dad.

Here, allow me to pre-load a bit! This was cutting into the splody loaf from yesterday:

Decided to split the dough this time, so instead of one enormous loaf I present the breadlings! One of them exploded a bit, but should still be tasty.

The starter was fed last night. His Grace, Duke Breadginald Yeastways of the Pilsburian line, rises once more to do his duty and provide for his people. Pic is from last night after feeding.

I have achieved... SOURDOUGH.

Not the first time, but this one came out pretty well in spite of not rising as quickly as expected.
